One of the things I found interesting in Chapter two of Kozol book, would be when he mentioned that he had no idea what to do when the kids started crying. Even with all his education and experience, he is no match for an eight year old girl named Pineapple."Children do things like this for each other that an adult doesn't understand but knows he cannot do himself"(Kozol 27).

I also served in the Navy. And I have quite a bit of welding experience.
ReplyDeleteThats cool that you served in the Navy. My brother was in Air force and he was stationed out on Germany for year and half. He said that he really liked the people there and that everything was in biking distance.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about Kozol. he reminded me of a helpless puppy with the kids started to cry.
